The Gemini cryptocurrency exchange plans to add new cryptocurrencies this year
Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss said that they hope to add new crypto-currencies at his cryptocurrency exchange in 2018. Most likely, these currencies will be included cash of bitcoin and litecoin.
According to Bloomberg, the twins made this statement on Thursday at an event organized by CboeGlobal Markets Inc. As is known, the Chicago Board of trade (Cboe) uses Gemini data for bitcoin contracts, and in order to offer contracts for other cryptocurrencies, it will need information on these cryptocurrencies.
If you look at all the crypto space, we will see that other products have liquidity, which means that products based on them make sense.
LedgerX is already planning to offer more contracts to its customers this year, perhaps, Ethereum futures will appear among them.
Meanwhile, Winklevoss twins, who currently offer products exclusively based on bitcoin and ethereum, are planning to add other blockchain-based products. As stated by Tyler Winklevoss, the new cryptocurrency “refers to the genealogical tree Satoshi Nakamoto” is a cash of bitcoin and litecoin.
Gemini users received bitcoin cash in October 2017, but the exchange does not offer options for trading this cryptocurrency.
As for litecoin, Tyler Winklevoss previously called this cryptocurrency the godfather of all digital currencies.
